Alain Bernard Ononino

Alain Bernard ONONINO is the former head of LAGA’s legal department. He is a jurist specialized in International Environmental Law and Law enforcement. He coordinates the activities of several legal advisers inside the department following up court cases and fighting the corruption that accompanies them. Other missions that involve his work are the planning of arrest operations, formulating strategies for wildlife court cases, legal analysis of wildlife court cases and follow up in court fighting corruption and all other irregularities during the procedure.

Alain ONONINO has already made some publications notably a paper entitled "Establishing regional wildlife law enforcement: lessons from an unusual partnership NGOs – Governments in the Central African Sub-region"at the INECE 9th Conference, Canada, 2011.
