A total of 170 investigation missions (of varying lengths) were carried out in 8 regions.

Operations were carried out in 4 regions arresting 10 major traffickers and 9 cases from the operations, are being handled by examining judges.

Operations were on elephant tusks, African grey parrots, pangolin scales and leopard skins 

The rate of imprisonment of arrested offender stood at 90%. 

2 ivory traffickers were arrested with 2 elephant tusks. One of them is a notorious regional trafficker at the centre of criminal networks stretching to Chad, Congo and CAR

65 African grey parrots were seized from a government car of a divisional officer. 

A senior police officer was arrested and 2 leopard skins seized. 

81kg of pangolin scales were seized and 2 traffickers arrested

9 new cases were brought to court. All the cases are being handled by an examining judge. 

8 traffickers were found guilty and handed a prison sentences and the payment of fines and damages of 4 400 000 FCFA. (about $8800).

A total of 219 media pieces were produced in national media (radio, written press and internet) achieved at a rate about 4 media pieces per week.
